Pending legal review

This document is placeholder text. It has not been reviewed or approved by U.S. legal counsel and does not yet describe Road Cover’s actual practices or obligations. Do not rely on it.

This policy is intended to describe how Road Cover collects, uses, shares and retains personal information submitted through roadcover.us, and the choices available to consumers.

A record of the consent language you agreed to, its version, and the date and time you agreed to it.

How we use information

To process your request and to connect you with participating insurance providers, insurance agencies, licensed insurance professionals and other participating partners.

To operate, secure and improve the site, including detecting and preventing fraudulent or automated submissions.

To comply with applicable legal obligations and to maintain records evidencing the consent you provided.

How we share information

Road Cover shares the information you submit with participating insurance providers, agencies, licensed insurance professionals and other partners so that they may contact you about auto insurance products and services.

We may share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, and where required by law or legal process.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.

You can submit a request through the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or by contacting us using the details below.

Communications and opting out

If you consented to be contacted, you may receive calls, text messages and emails from Road Cover and from participating partners. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. Opting out of Road Cover communications does not automatically opt you out of communications from a partner you were connected with; contact that partner directly.

Cookies and tracking

The site uses a small number of first-party storage mechanisms needed to keep the request form working and to remember the campaign that brought you to the site for the duration of your session. No advertising cookies are set by default.

Data retention and security

We retain request and consent records for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping requirements.

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
